“Acquisition and sale of family businesses”: Successful event by ScherbaumSeebacher and Spängler M&A

On 16 October, ScherbaumSeebacher hosted an event with Spängler M&A at the law firm’s offices in Vienna. Mag. Helmut Schmidt, LL.M., Partner at ScherbaumSeebacher, and Mag. Veronika Sturm-Haigermoser, Managing Partner at Spängler M&A, spoke on the subject of “Acquisition and sale of family businesses”. Both speakers presented various aspects of the purchase and sale of family businesses as well as the associated legal, economic and cultural challenges. The lectures were followed by a lively discussion and question and answer session on the part of the numerous participants as well as a buffet.
