Legal Practice in Insolvency Law: Practice meets theory

In our recent lecture, Mag. Jessica Marent and Mag. Florian Thelen had the opportunity to give students an insight into the day-to-day relevance of insolvency law and, in particular, the practical work of an insolvency administrator.

Drawing on examples from our daily practice, we demonstrated the tasks involved from the appointment of an insolvency administrator through to the conclusion of insolvency proceedings, as well as the important role of debtor and creditor representation throughout the process.

One of our main goals was to show students how the concepts they learn during their studies translate into real-world legal practice. After all, it is often only in professional life that the practical significance of theoretical foundations truly becomes apparent.
