New article in the Journal for Public Procurement Law and Construction Contract Law: ‘The importance of acceptance’ from the series ‘The successful construction project’.
The acceptance of construction work represents an important milestone and a legal turning point in the context of construction projects. Disputes between the client and contractor often originate from a premature, delayed or careless handover. In some cases, the provisions of ONORM B 2110 deviate considerably from the general legal situation. In the fifth part of the series: ‘The successful construction project’, partner Lukas Andrieu and RAA Francisca Andic, together with Prof. Dr Detlef Heck and DI Markus Allram, look at the legal pitfalls of handover in construction.
